Core Beliefs of MCC

Missions

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations

Matthew 28:19

Missions are a forefront emphasis of Minier Christian Church and its leadership. We believe that the love of God and the gospel should be shared with all people everywhere. The Missions Team financially supports 9 unique, individual mission groups and families. This team also organizes many short-term missions trips to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We support all sorts of missions, from overseas missions to local Bible colleges and camps. Check out each of our supported missions below.

Acts 1:8 ~ "but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth.”

Support our current short-term missions trips

Dominican Republic Mission Trip

From February 13-20, a team of ten people from Minier Christian Church left the country and serve with one of our supported missions, Eastern Dominican Christian Mission. There we shared the love of God and the gospel, through children's VBS, service projects, and preaching the gospel. Please pray for the continuing impact of this short term mission trips on the multiple church plants served in the Dominican Republic.

Shiloh Christian Missions Trip

From June 23-27, a team of students and adults will make their way to Clarence, Missouri to serve the Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch. There they will do service projects such as mulching, wood stacking,  and making genuine connections with the kids of Shiloh. Any monetary donations goes directly toward the trip and buying school clothes for the children. We also need donations of water and gatorade for this trip as well. Please pray for this mission trip, as many students get their first experience serving in missions.

Our Supported Missions

Eastern Dominican Christian Mission

Eastern Dominican Christian Mission is a non-profit Christian ministry that equips and empowers national leadership to plant local churches, provides medical care and supplies in the most impoverished areas, provides educational and spiritual support to our churches and communities, and brings faith, hope, and love to the eastern portion of the Dominican Republic.

Encounter Campus Ministry

Campus ministry is not a “holding tank” for Christian students.  It is not our goal to provide a college youth group to keep Christians safe while in college.  Quite the opposite.  It’s our hope to inspire students to believe they are Kingdom workers – future missionaries and elders and deacons and pastors and world-changers.  They are the ones who will spread deep roots and bear the fruit that is the start of a new forest. Located in Bloomington, Illinois, Encounter Campus Ministry continues to make Kingdom workers on the campuses of Illinois State University, Illinois Wesleyan, and Heartland Community College.

Haitian Christian Mission

Haitian Christian Ministries (HCM) exists to bring transformation to Northern Haiti through the message of Jesus Christ.  We believe that the hope found in Christ alone has the power to transform lives, families and communities.... even a nation. The ministry is driven by three core values:

                 Preaching and Teaching God's Word
                 Planting Churches
Meeting the Physical Needs of the People

Lincoln Christian University

Lincoln Christian University is a Christian higher education community whose mission is to nurture and equip Christians with a Biblical worldview to serve and lead in the church and the world.LCU strives to meet the needs of students by designing a Christ-centered curriculum that not only prepares them for their chosen profession but also gives them the knowledge and desire to live out their faith in this fallen world.

Little Galilee Christian Camp

LGCC exists to provide a means for people of all ages to come to know Jesus Christ. Almost 70 years later, their purpose remains the same.  They are building upon the same mission of life-change in youth. As they impact the current generation, we look forward to the next 70 years of ministry and growth.

Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center

Living Alternatives Pregnancy Resource Center Medical Clinics offer medical services under the license and direction of our Illinois and Indiana Medical Director Physicians.
