At MCC, we value the next generation. Our goal is to come alongside parents and assist in training up kids in the ways of the Lord. We offer children’s programming for kids ages Pre-K through 5th grade on Sundays at 9:00am. The children are dismissed from the worship service to go to their program during the message time. We also offer a Wednesday Night program called MCC Kids Treehouse. This is an opportunity for kids to gain a deeper understanding about the Bible in a safe, loving environment. We desire that every kid find themselves closer to God after an encounter with our Children's Ministry.

Our children's ministry places an emphasis on creating an environment for kids on a Sunday morning. MCC Kids allows children to experience a portion of our weekly "big" church, while also having programming available that is suited for the young minds and energy of our kids. Before the sermon, the MCC Kids Dismissal song will play as a cue for the kids to head over to the East Kids Wing for their lesson time. Divided by age and grade, there is a space for each child with teaching and activities customized to their learning level. MCC Kids desires to serve alongside parents and families as we train up the next generation together.

We are excited to unveil a new Wednesday Night Programming for our children's ministry. This is open to grades K-5th grade, with nursery provided for infants - Pre-School. The heart of this children's ministry program is for the kids to grow deeper in their knowledge of the Bible and relationship with Jesus. We prioritize training up the next generation of believers and want to serve the family unit. Come check us out. Your children will not be disappointed in the intentional effort our volunteers commit to this vision. It is a spiritual adventure that will hopefully make an impact that lasts a life time.

MCC Kids Bible Buddy Reading Plan
This summer, we are encouraging your kiddo (and you!) to spend some time in the Word! We are launching a 100-day Summer Bible Reading plan. To get started, your child can pick up a “Bible buddy” and the reading plan from the kids' check-in desk. Each day, your child should spend some time reading the day's chapter with their “Bible buddy” and you. On Sunday mornings, kids will earn Bible Bucks for the days they have completed that week, and we’ll have some fun prizes for hitting milestone days (25, 50, 75, and 100)! The reading plan will officially start on Monday, June 1st, and will end on Sunday, September 13th. We hope that you take advantage of this opportunity to dive into God’s word with your child and that it deepens their relationship with God.

VBS - Emerald Crossing
In a world filled with worry and confusion, kids need to know there is a God who cares for them. At Emerald Crossing VBS, they’ll journey through Ireland’s lush landscapes, exploring the powerful words of Psalm 23. They’ll discover the life of the shepherd-king David and will learn how to cross from worry to peace, from fear to faith, and from uncertainty to a firm foundation in God’s Word through a relationship with the Good Shepherd. Get your passport ready for Ireland and join the adventure!
